Movie Suggestions

“Fiction gives us empathy: it puts us inside the minds of other people, gives us the gifts of seeing the world through their eyes. Fiction is a lie that tells us true things, over and over.”  --Neil Gaiman

I love movies! I grew up always drawn to authentic storytelling and it is in those stories that I recognized I began to learn about cultures, perspectives, struggles and triumphs, that I had not experienced myself. And yet, I felt compelled to somehow insert myself into the narrative. This process can be validating, even if the validation reveals a painful truth. You may be visiting my website on your own time or you may be a client of mine that's been given some homework. Either way, please take some intentional time to explore these movies.

--Please be aware that some of these movies explore difficult, raw and sometimes downright tragic subjects.
